Bringing together over 3 decades of music, DJ Quik and Scarface and SugaFree all rocked the Microsoft Novo stage in LA’s downtown last week right next to the Staples Center.

Adorning a red polo and bright red shoes, DJ Quik took the stage to a hype crowd with tons of energy.

The highlight of the show had to be when all of the guys took the stage and you had DJ Quik, Sugafree and Scarface on the stage at one time with a live band.

Of course Scarface performed the classics like “My Block” and SugaFree performed his hit song, “Why U Bullshittin’, but Quik stole the show with his epic performance of songs.

After Quik put out critically acclaimed music, including Rosecrans, his recent collaboration with fellow LA rapper Problem, it was recently announced that Quik will also be doing a collaborative album with Scarface.

Regarded as one of the pioneers of Southern Hip-Hop, Scarface came onto the scene as one-third of the Geto Boys and brought the attention of the hip-hop community to his hometown of Houston, as well as the South as a whole.

Little do many know, but Scarface went on to become the head of Def Jam South and launched the careers of several southern rappers, including Ludacris
